Update: Sep 15, 2014
The Italian daily Le Repubblica has recently run an article on its Viaggi (Travel) column highlighting the stunning beauty of Ha Long Bay which was recognized as a World Natural Heritage site in 1994 by UNESCO and voted as one of the seven New Natural Wonders of the World in 2011.
The article provides a brief overview of the bay, recommending it as a must-see place to visit during a trip to Viet Nam, especially when a new Ha Noi-Ha Long route is launched this September, using two of the latest generation Cessna Grand Caravan EX hovercraft.
This is La Repubblica’s 5th article on Vietnamese tourism, particularly Ha Long Bay.
The number of Italian tourists to the bay has increased considerably over the past few years thanks to its beautiful landscape with attractive tours.
